I Arshad Khan the President of the Pakistan Masters Weightlifting Association (PMWLA) would like to formally introduce our association and its core objectives.

I am proud to lead an organization dedicated to promoting masters weightlifting across Pakistan. With a deep respect for the athletes who have devoted their lives to this sport, my mission is to ensure that their journey continues with dignity, recognition, and opportunity. Through strong leadership, international collaboration, and a commitment to excellence, I strive to build a supportive platform where veteran lifters can remain active, competitive, and inspirational for generations to come.

Purpose

  • To promote weightlifting as a source of health, fitness, and competitive spirit among veteran athletes in Pakistan.
  • To ensure the social well-being, inclusion, and continued engagement of our retired and senior lifters—those who have dedicated their lives to this sport.
  • To organize national and regional competitions, training programs, and awareness campaigns, providing our masters with meaningful opportunities to stay active and inspire.

  • Not affiliated with the Pakistan Weightlifting Federation, Olympic Weightlifting, or the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF).
  • Proudly affiliated with the International Masters Weightlifting Association (IMWA) and the Asian Masters Weightlifting Association (AMWA).
  • Exclusively focused on masters weightlifting—serving athletes aged 35 and above, who continue to defy limits with courage and discipline.
